Find the collection calendar for your address, permitted container, placement and any excess-waste arrangements. A missed collection, additional container request and bulky booking are separate processes. Follow the route for the problem you actually have.

Do not assume a pile next to the bin will be taken. Check whether the council publishes excess-waste instructions or another household route. Large items need their own acceptance checks rather than simply being broken down for the bin.
